Applications in Electrical Industry

Sulphur hexafluoride (SF6): Used as an insulating gas in electrical equipment, such as circuit breakers and transformers, due to its high dielectric strength and thermal stability.

Argon: Used for the filling of incandescent and fluorescent light bulbs to increase their lifespan.

Nitrogen: Used for the blanketing and purging of tanks and pipelines, as well as for the inerting of explosive atmospheres.

Hydrogen: Used for the cooling of large generators and the production of electronics and semiconductors.
