Natural gas: Used in the oil and gas industry for power generation and heating. It is also used as a feedstock for the production of chemicals and other products.
Nitrogen: Used in blanketing and purging of tanks and pipelines, as well as for the inerting of explosive atmospheres.
Oxygen: Used for the combustion of fuels in boilers and furnaces, as well as for the enhanced oil recovery processes, such as steam flooding and gas injection.
Carbon dioxide: Used for enhanced oil recovery processes, it is injected into oil reservoirs to increase the pressure and reduce the viscosity of the oil.
Helium: Used in the oil and gas industry for leak detection and the testing of pressure vessels and pipelines.
